Worship & Prayer

Imagine standing in the throne room of God, before the fall of Lucifer. Everything was in unity and harmony. Every note and melody was on point. The air filled with the sweet aroma of His full Presence, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The angels freely in worship unto the Lord and swaying to the sounds of heaven. Everything was perfect! 

But this precious moment in time didn't last long. Perhaps Lucifer had heard that God was planning to make man in His own image and jealousy drove him to do the  unthinkable, destroy what God loved. He set out to destroy the unity and harmony of heaven. His free choice to rise up against God with 1/3 of his following angels cast them out of the third realm to earth!

I'm sure the beautiful sounds and melodies turned into clamors and clangs that day and Lucifer lost his role as the leading worshipper.  However, heaven was brought back into unity and harmony without his disruptions. 

Worship is very important to God. The Lord draws close to us when we worship Him in spirit and truth. To this day He is calling us to establish resting places where His Presence may dwell here on earth as we tarry waiting for the return of Christ. He restores us as we restore true worship unto Him. 

When we are seeking Him to find Him with all our hearts, Holy Spirit shows up as the Manifest Presence of Jesus and with heart of the Heavenly Father.

Intentional worship and prayer intercession provides a time and place to gaze upon the Lord. I have found that it is in that place of intimacy that He  gives answers to impossible situations. He brings salvation to the lost, healing for the broken and deliverance to those in need. 

Like Mary, we can chose to sit at the feet of Jesus, and glean from spending time with Him this way.  Jesus said, "... Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her," Luke 10:42. There is a work the Lord does in us and through us when we spend time with Him. 

I believe this type of ministry in Churches across America will prepare the way to help our communities, and be a conduit to bring revival, shift the culture and make way for His Bride, who is the Church - spotless and with out wrinkle.
